Eclectic and versatile musician, his projects are various and range from artistic research to the performance of classical and jazz compositions.

Graduated in Trumpet, Jazz Music, Conduction and Composition for Choir, Science and Technology of Sound. Moreover, he also attended the Tuning In! programme at the mdw – University of Music and Performing Arts of Vienna.

He has performed, as a soloist, in major Concert Halls and Festivals in Italy and abroad: Carnegie Hall (NY), Spectrum NYC, International Trumpet Guild Conference | San Antonio (TX), Thelonious Jazz Club and “Universidad de las Artes” in Buenos Aires, Auditorium “Juan Victoria” of San Juan (AR), University of Arts of Tirana and Auditorium Gjon Kapidani of Scutari (AL), Municipal Conservatory of Thermi, SKG Bridges Festival of Thessaloniki (GR), Kailash Mital Theatre of Ottawa (CA), İzmir European Jazz Festival and Ahmed Adnan Saygun Arts Center of İzmir (TR), Ciglana Jazz Klub of Belgrade (CS), University Cultural Center of Novi Sad (CS), University of Coimbra and University of Aveiro (PT), MDW – University of Music and Performing Arts of Vienna (AT), Yeldeğirmeni Sanat Art Center and Italian Institute for Culture of İstanbul (TR), Studio Acusticum | Piteå Concert Hall at Luleå University (SE), Niš University (CS), NoiseFloor of Stoke-on-Trent (EN), Auditorium Parco della Musica of Rome, Piacenza Jazz Fest, Beat Onto Jazz Festival, Sala Ducale di Aosta, Jazzit Fest | Pompei, Milano Spazio Classica (IT), Erimtan Archaeology and Arts Museum of Ankara (TR), etc.

He was awarded in more than 20 International Music Competitions as Trumpet Soloist.

He also has a degree in Building Engineering from the Polytechnic University of Bari and perfected in Sound Engineering from the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia.

For DiG Label he recorded with the pianist Pietro Gallo the CD Reimagining Opera (feat. Michel Godard at Serpent) and the CD Reimagining Aria (feat. Gabriele Mirabassi at Clarinet). 

He is the author of numerous musicological and music research essays published in specialist journals and miscellaneous volumes, including: Crossing Music. PhD Candidate (thesis entitled: Cornet à Pistons by Joseph Jean-Baptiste Laurent Arban), he is dedicated to artistic and musical research. He is regularly invited to hold conferences and lecture-concerts for important research institutions, including: Carleton University in Ottawa (Canada), Maltepe University in İstanbul (Turkey), University at Buffalo (New York), Music Diaries in Thessaloniki (Greece), Maastricht University (Netherlands), Aldo Moro University in Bari, Staffordshire University in Stoke-on-Trent (England), Luleå University of Technology (Sweden), SIdM - Italian Society of Musicology, International Society for Research and Promotion of Wind Music (IGEB), University of Music and Performing Arts of Graz (Austria), University of Luxembourg (Luxembourg), Il Saggiatore Musicale, Department of Musicology and Cultural Heritage of the University of Pavia, MDW - University of Music of Vienna (Austria), Department of Arts of the University of Bologna, Kulturni Centar of Novi Sad (Serbia), LATIMPE - Learning and Teaching in Music Performance Education, Croatian Association of Music Theorists (HDGT), ITG - International Trumpet Guild Conference.

Devoting also to teaching and musical research, he held courses and seminars focusing on Trumpet and Jazz Improvisation at Universities and Conservatories in Italy, Argentina, Greece, Albania, Serbia, Turkey, Nederland, Portugal, Croatia, Austria, etc. He taught Trumpet at Rome, L’Aquila and Cosenza Conservatory of Music. At present, he teaches at the “Umberto Giordano” State Conservatory of Music in Rodi G.co | Foggia.
